Course Requirements
A genuine interest in all types of dance
The ability to work in Contemporary style dance (Not TOTP)
Attendance at dance clubs or classes
An interest in learning about all aspects of the
world of
dance - choreographers, dancers, set design, costume,
lighting, how to make up a more interesting dance.
By the end of the course
students will be better at:
Making more interesting dances.
Performaing using good techniques and a
wider variety of movements.
Performing with confidence in front of others.
Assessing your own & other people's
performance.
Thinking more creatively.
Understanding dance work more artistically.
Undersatnding links with other cultures and
art subjects.
