Research has shown that an important component of a classroom component is the quality of display. Students learn and progress best in a structured and stimulating learning environment.

Display checklist:

• How much display is in the room and how much space is available?
• Do displays support and demonstrate quality of work by pupils?
• What conditions are the displays in? When were they last changed and who put them up?
• How do the displays support your current teaching?
• How much pupil work is included?
• What do pupils think of the displays?
• What do the displays say about your approach to teaching?

We must:

• Take pride in our environment and ensure our classrooms are clean and tidy and ready for all lessons.
• Resources are well organised to ensure no learning time is wasted.
