Research shows that students will engage in tasks when they are exciting, meaningful, achievable and involve working together with others.

We know that students will be motivated by interactive lessons, in which a range of learning styles is catered for, when they can work in groups and be creative. We know how to structure three or four part lessons and the importance of clear learning objectives.

We also live in the real world and we are all under pressure to deliver content-laden courses in a limited amount of time and get the best results for our students and sometimes excitement, creativity and engagement are sacrificed because exams are approaching rapidly.
