LABORATORY RULES

The science laboratory is a very dangerous place so agree to obey a special set of safety rules at all times during science lessons.

These rules are:-
(1) Never run in a laboratory.
(2) Always wear safety glasses when performing an experiment.
(3) Never eat or taste anything in a laboratory.
(4) Always wash your hands after leaving the laboratory.
(5) Only perform the experiments you are told to do.
(6) Always tell the teacher if you spill any chemicals.
(7) Always wipe up spillages of water as soon as possible.
(8) Always inform the teacher of accidents straight away.
(9) Always treat chemicals with respect, they can be very harmful.
(10) Carry chemical bottles by the body and NEVER by the neck.
(11) Never touch electrical appliances with wet hands.
(12) When in doubt, ASK A TEACHER.
(13) Never enter a science laboratory unless a teacher is present.
