That is what we expect from all of our students. That’s the Ivo way.

This means having a positive mindset, working as hard as you can, then trying even harder; challenging yourself; making changes based on feedback and advice from teachers.

An I can attitude has been proven to work wonders. An A STAR Learner is someone who demonstrates, and is a role model for, our 5Rs. An A STAR learner is:

• Resourceful - always looks for ways to improve
• Responsible – takes responsibility for their own learning
• Resilient –keeps trying; doesn’t mind making mistakes because that’s how they learn more
• Reflective – seeks and acts on teacher/peer feedback to improve their own learning
• Respectful – respects themselves and others

Research shows us that students, staff and parents alike, learn best when we take charge of our own learning. Here at St Ivo we will support and guide students so that they can be their very best.
