Thank you for your interest in the post of Headteacher at St Ivo School.

In its first 50 plus years in existence, St Ivo School had only four Headteachers. This year, we have had the misfortune of losing our Head after little more than a year. This has given rise to completely understandable concerns on the part of some of our parents and carers. We are doing our best to allay their concerns.

What you will find at St Ivo is –

• a student body who, as a group, enjoy school, behave well, work hard and are fully engaged with their local community and the wider world
• a loyal, well qualified and hardworking staff, who are committed to carrying through our School Improvement Plan to improve the quality of teaching and learning for their students and
• an experienced and dedicated governing body, who are determined to support our new Head in raising the standards of the School in line with parents’ expectations.

We are looking to appoint a Headteacher who will not only share our values but who will provide the necessary leadership, management and vision to build on the school’s strengths.
